Board Bros

Where To Go?
Not sure where to take your board? Don’t worry—we’ve scouted the best local spots for chill vibes, solid views, and easy parking. All of these are beginner-friendly and within striking distance of Board Bros HQ.
Shadow Cliffs Regional Park (Pleasanton)
Calm water. Big beach. Easy access. Shadow Cliffs is a top pick for first-timers and chill weekend paddles. Parking’s $6 and fills fast on sunny days—get there early. No boats, no stress. Just you, the board, and a few friendly ducks.
Lake Del Valle (Livermore)
A little further out but 100% worth it. Del Valle has more room to roam and killer mountain views. It’s popular, so expect some boat wakes—great if you want a bit more adventure. Bring snacks, maybe a dog, and make a whole day of it.
Alameda Crown Beach
Feeling coastal? Grab a board and hit Crown Beach. It’s Bay water, not a lake, so be mindful of wind and currents. Flat in the morning, choppy by afternoon. Stay close to shore and paddle parallel. It’s a vibe, especially at sunset.
